Over the last two decades, TalentKeepers has helped drive the evolution of employee engagement and retention, and empowered thousands of organizations to create a culture of engagement to retain employees longer and improve operational metrics.

TalentKeepers was founded in 2000 in Maitland, Fla. The company quickly established itself, via original research and pioneering products, as one of the creators of the employee engagement and retention solutions market.
TalentKeepers was one of the first to introduce online learning courses focused on the skills leaders need to drive engagement and retention on their teams. In 2002, these courses won HR Executive Magazine’s prestigious Top Product of the Year award.
In 2008, TalentKeepers launched the highly successful Stay Interviews solution, offering a toolset that empowers leaders to understand key drivers of employee engagement and implement them with their team members. This solution, which garnered another Top Product of the Year award, enables organizations to take a systemic approach to focusing on employee career growth opportunities (the number one reason employees leave their jobs) and increasing retention.
In 2004, TalentKeepers launched Workplace America℠, now the longest continuously run study of employee engagement and retention trends in the U.S. New tactics and emerging strategies are uncovered each year from the more than 600 participating organizations. These tactics and strategies are widely shared and incorporated into TalentKeepers solutions.
In 2017, TalentKeepers launched the annual Workplace America Leadership Research study, which focuses on the importance of organizations’ abilities to measure how well leaders engage their teams, train them to improve their skills and hold them accountable for team engagement.
Also in 2017, CEO Chris Mulligan published his first book focusing on employee engagement. It was republished as Talent Keepers: How Top Leaders Engage and Retain their Best Performers in 2019 by Wiley & Sons Publishing.
The TalentKeepers team has won a number of industry awards, including HR Executive Magazine Top Training Product of the year award twice, the International Customer Management Institute’s (ICMI) Best in Show award at its annual conference, Top 10 Employee Engagement Solution Providers by HR Tech Outlook Magazine, and more.
