A cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions leader, Paylocity, announces its new feature, Ask an Expert. Presently part of existing engagement and collaboration tool, Community of Paylocity, Ask an Expert provides a consolidated forum between employees and subject matter experts, where employees can ask questions to assigned group administrators.
CEO of Paylocity, Steve Beauchamp, “It’s common for employees to have questions about benefits, payroll, or IT troubleshooting, but they often don’t have a clue where to turn to solve these problems quickly, particularly now, when remote work is the norm. With Ask an Expert, employees can avoid the process of being rerouted from one person to another, which can often distract them from their core work and day-to-day routines. Rather, Ask an Expert users will have direct access to groups where they can pose their questions, and get them resolved in a timely manner. And rather than fielding questions from calls, email, drop-in’s and more, administrators can enjoy the productivity of monitoring a single source, complete with dashboards and notifications that assist them to manage efficiently.”
The Ask an Expert feature provides the following:
Custom groups:
Users can set up different Ask an Expert group relying on the frequency of common questions asked, business-specific categories, or corporate team responsibilities. Ask an Expert group can be customized to “Ask Leadership,” “Ask HR,” “COVID-19 Return to Work” or “Open Enrollment Q&A” as examples.
Real-Time Notifications:
Ask an Expert notifies experts when new inquiries come in and lets them see all questions asked, along with their status through a dashboard. In addition to the mobile flexibility of Paylocity, employees will receive push notifications on their smartphone as soon as questions are addressed.
Paylocity’s Community is a social collaboration platform designed explicitly for customers to enhance employee engagement, connection and productivity. With the addition of Ask an Expert, companies will be able to share the most meaningful, relevant, timely content with employees in a more transparent way that the modern workforce presently anticipates. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to redefine the new method that businesses operate, Community makes it simpler for employees to collaborate on projects, develop a positive culture and stay productive, even when employees are geographically dispersed.
