TalkOut launches App and VR Support for workplace mental health and wellbeing of employees

TalkOut, the workplace mental health organization based out of Manchester is all set to expand the support of the company to the business community of the U.K. by adding a new and immersive solution and a wellbeing application. The hrtech news arena has always pressed the vitality of employee wellbeing within and beyond the community.

These new additions are expected to grow the organization by more than 300%. These plans have been put to motion for serving the purpose of meeting the requirements and providing support during these unprecedented working conditions that have emerged due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The new VR offering will provide the employees with the capability to enter simulated ecosystems through a monitor and a headset to manage and refine their responses to certain circumstances in the workplace. These circumstances potentially have an impact on the mental health of the employees.

The other new product of the wellbeing app is designed to serve the purpose of supporting the promotion of connection among employees and to provide businesses the ability to directly aid the emotional wellbeing of individuals along with offering counseling through a special chat function.

These new digital solutions by the company follow the existing mental health consultancy and training program of TalkOut while providing the company with the ability to extend its support to employees as well as businesses that are working remotely due to the ongoing restrictions of lockdown imposed.

The company has plans of further growing out its team in the coming months in order to meet the rising demand by the businesses. The company empathizes with the businesses for having a lot on their plate due to the lockdown crisis but also states the importance of the mental health requirements of their staff.
