Alight, Inc. (NYSE: ALIT or the “Company”), a leading cloud-based human capital and technology-enabled services provider, today announced the appointment of Stephen (Steve) Rush as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective October 8, 2025.
In this role, Rush will oversee Alight’s global commercial sales and marketing strategy, with a focus on accelerating growth across all solutions lines. He will report to Dave Guilmette, Alight’s Chief Executive Officer.
Rush brings 30 years of commercial and sales leadership experience to the role, including over 25 years at Alight and its predecessor organizations. Over the course of his career, he has partnered with Fortune 500 clients to deliver enterprise solutions across health and welfare, retirement, wellbeing, and leaves management, while strengthening executive relationships and driving large-scale transformation.
“Steve brings a unique combination of benefits administration expertise and commercial leadership that will be invaluable as Alight looks to accelerate its growth strategy,” said Guilmette. “His long history with Alight and deep understanding of our clients’ needs position him to make an immediate and meaningful impact.”
Most recently, Rush served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Americas for HCL Software. In this capacity, he led a comprehensive commercial transformation that included developing vertical expansions, launching partner programs, and building go-to-market strategy, which resulted in his organization significantly exceeding annual revenue targets.

Rush holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Drew University.
