Harver, the industry-leading hiring solution helping organizations optimize their talent decisions, announced the appointment of Steve Martin as chief executive officer (CEO). Previously serving as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO), Martin will lead the company into its next phase of growth, while driving execution and creating greater value for customers.

Martin has over 25 years of experience leading and scaling product innovation and corporate strategy and brings a wealth of experience to guide Harver in the dynamic HR tech market. He will drive company direction to ensure innovation is the cornerstone of the business’ approach, championing Harver’s goal to help organizations efficiently make better decisions across the talent lifecycle.

“Steve has provided unwavering leadership since joining Harver,” said Vincent Chao, partner, Rubicon Technology Partners. “His breadth of technology expertise, business acumen, and history of leading and operating enterprise organizations makes him the right person to lead Harver in a world increasingly driven by data-driven products and solutions.”

Prior to Harver, Martin was the CTO at Monotype, where he transformed the company’s solution portfolio to drive sustained doubled-digit growth. Martin succeeds Scott Landers as CEO of Harver, and served under Landers for over 15 years both at Harver, as well as a previous organization. Together, they have partnered closely on business strategy and direction to ensure a seamless leadership transition. Scott Landers will remain a committed member of the company as a board advisor.

“I am thrilled to lead Harver into the next phase of its evolution focusing on delivering our customers world-class innovation to solve their biggest and most complex talent challenges,” said Steve Martin, chief executive officer, Harver. “As the need for innovative hiring solutions continues to be critical to business success, we are committed to challenging the norm and developing transformative solutions to help our customers engage, hire, and grow the best talent. I am looking forward to working with our team to create value in an exciting and rapidly evolving industry.”

Over the past year Harver has strengthened its robust product suite, built on predictive and unbiased people science, through a variety of initiatives including its new Conversational Hiring AI Tool, Harver CHATTM. Additionally, Harver was ranked on the 2023 Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies list, recognizing the company’s continued success as an independent business in the pursuit of helping employers efficiently make better decisions across the talent lifecycle.
