Visier Wraps Up a Landmark Year as Workforce AI Gains C-Suite Focus

Company Closes Fiscal Year with Record Financial Results, Surging Customer Growth, Award-winning Workforce AI Innovations, and a Broader Mandate for People Impact in an Age of Unprecedented Corporate Pressure and Market Volatility

Visier, the globally recognized leader in workforce AI solutions, today announced highlights from its fiscal year, referred to as FY25, which ended January 31, 2025. The company closes the year having achieved major product, financial, customer, and partner milestones. Visier’s FY25 performance underscores the increasing recognition of workforce productivity as a strategic imperative for global business, and the role of Workforce AI to elevate employee impact across the business.

Visier defines Workforce AI as a set of integrated capabilities that help organizations:

  • Understand their people–democratizing access to people insights for executives and managers to drive better outcomes at every stage of the employee lifecycle.

  • Understand the work they’re doing–connecting the dots between people, their work and the impact this work has on key results for the business.

  • Continuously adapt and optimize–guiding a global workforce through an unprecedented era of change and volatility, including the adoption of AI itself.

  • Elevate workforce productivity–innovating at the intersection of people and work data to improve workforce productivity across virtually any department, function or business process, including sales, customer service, manufacturing, patient care, and more.

Highlights for the Year Include:

  • Continued Business Momentum – Visier closed FY25 with record results, growing its customer base to 65,000 customers, marked by new and expanded commercial relationships with some of the world’s leading organizations in technology, financial services, healthcare, retail, service, and manufacturing sectors. The company achieved year over year growth across all key metrics, including exceptionally high customer retention and install base growth, overachieving in both gross and net revenue retention.

  • Bold Corporate Mission – Workforce AI Edge – In September, Visier announced a bold corporate initiative, “Workforce AI Edge,” as a call to action for every organization to seize the power of AI to address a collision of labor market, productivity, and economic trends putting extraordinary pressure on business performance and competitiveness. Companies with a Workforce AI Edge dramatically improve workforce productivity, elevate people impact on key results, and continuously adapt to changes within their operating environments, including the changes associated with the adoption of AI itself.

  • Groundbreaking Generative AI Product Innovation – Extraordinary advancements in Visier’s generative AI product, Vee, and the introduction of Vee Boards, brought targeted people and work insights to managers, executives, and the C-suite. Late in the year, Visier announced its AI Agent Platformempowering organizations to design, build, and deploy their own powerful analytic AI agent-based solutions.

  • Open for Builders Initiative – Visier also introduced its “Open for Builders” initiative, underscoring its deep investment in extensible platform technology that enables Visier customers and partners to extend and customize the Visier People Data Platform to deliver innovations at the intersection of people and work data.

“This was a pivotal year for Visier, driven by a deep confirmation that Workforce AI is a critical focus for the C-suite as organizations consider how their teams, roles, and people will shift and adapt to the arrival of AI into the workplace,” said Ryan Wong, co-founder and CEO of Visier. “In a year that was so challenging for many SaaS vendors, Visier overachieved across virtually all of our performance metrics, clearly signaling that the market is very much coming our way.”

Workforce AI Achievements

  • Vee Momentum: Visier’s Vee is an award-winning generative AI digital agent that provides the most secure, performant and intuitive way to ask and answer people and work related questions in natural language. In FY25, Vee was adopted by nearly half of Visier’s 65,000 customers, representing one of the largest scale examples of generative AI adoption in business today, and one of the most successful products in Visier’s 15-year history.

  • Vee Enhancements: In FY25, Visier delivered notable enhancements to Vee, including:
    • Vee “Everywhere” – Vee is now pervasive across Visier People®, so users can ask and answer natural language questions contextual to a chart or data point, directly in the flow of their analysis.

    • Vee API integration – Enterprise and embedded customers can utilize Vee’s API to deliver people data and insights directly from their existing AI assistants, accessing Vee’s powerful engine behind their own interface.

    • Microsoft 365 Copilot integration – Integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot puts people and business insights directly into a user’s flow of work in Microsoft 365.

    • Vee document indexing – Vee can now access any document library or knowledge base to serve up policies and best practices directly within Vee. This means users can bridge people and work insights with recommended actions within one unified conversational interface. Indexing can target an organization’s own knowledge base or external sources such as Galileo™ from The Josh Bersin Company, RedThread Research, or any other third-party research library.

  • Vee Boards: In September, Visier introduced Vee Boards, a powerful extension to the Vee product family that combines the best of generative AI and executive dashboards within one solution. Vee Boards deliver people data visualizations and AI-driven narratives tailored to reveal the highest priority issues to the C-suite. Vee Boards are available out-of-the-box for CFO and CHRO personas, and customers and partners can create their own for any other executive role.

  • Visier AI Agent Platform: Announced in December, Visier’s Agentic AI Platform promises to bring a powerful new agent-based workforce AI platform to enterprise CIOs, ISVs, and SIs to create powerful and secure agentic AI solutions. By combining people data with work data in new ways, this first-of-its-kind agent-based AI platform will give technical teams the foundation to launch their own team of AI-based analytic agents.

Market-Moving Insights: Research & Thought Leadership

In FY25, Visier’s research team published dozens of articles and research reports based on findings from Visier’s community data, resulting in media coverage in hundreds of business and trade press outlets, including Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Fast Company, CNN, Entrepreneur, WorkforceAI, and the Globe & Mail. These reports include:

How Tenure Affects Manager Performance: Visier analyzed 3.4 million employee records to reveal the complex interplay between manager tenure and team performance, and found that the effects of manager tenure on the likelihood of leading a high-performing team varies from one organization to the next. At 30% of companies, longer tenures were linked to higher performing teams, while at 45% the positive effects of manager tenure were temporary.

Designing Impactful Teams: Visier’s researchers found the ideal team size is six to ten people. To better understand effective team size and how work gets done, they collaborated with Dr. Amy C. Lewis, Professor of Management at the College of Business at Texas A&M University-San Antonio.

Compensation Trends 2024: As businesses face increasing pressure to retain top talent, our data-based analysis revealed three dominant trends: more frequent compensation cycles, ongoing efforts to address gender pay equity, and the challenges posed by wage compression on employee retention.

Visier’s Monthly Resignation Report: Based on over 20 million anonymized employee records and Visier’s advanced analytics, this report provides the most accurate view into employee resignation rates available today–and months ahead from similar data available through the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
