John Foristall, Partner, brings over 20 years of operating experience as a CFO and finance leader in the Consumer space. He began his career as a CPA in audit at Arthur Andersen and quickly moved into FP&A. From there, he has held leadership roles in finance for organizations such as Shoes.com, Nike, and Bauer Hockey. Most recently, he was a Partner at True Search. John’s unique background adds exceptional capability to the Consumer Practice, where he will lead the Consumer Practices’ finance and accounting search work. Given the Firm’s private equity clients’ urgent need for top-tier finance leaders, John’s distinct skillset elevates our ability to deliver exceptional results.
Heidi Rustin, Partner, brings over 20 years of search experience to the team. Heidi has successfully placed C-suite leaders across functions, from CEOs to CFOs, CMOs, and more. Before joining JM Search, Heidi led and co-founded Bryant Park Search Partners, a boutique executive search firm specializing in consumer goods and retail. Prior to Bryant Park, Heidi spent three years in the Consumer Practice at Heidrick & Struggles and eleven years at Herbert Mines Associates. Heidi’s extensive body of work in fashion, beauty, and retail brings tremendous strength to the Consumer Practice’s existing portfolio of work.
Jennifer Green, Principal, brings over a decade of experience placing investment professionals in the world’s leading private equity and venture capital firms. Prior to JM Search, Jennifer was at True Search and brings deep executive search and financial expertise to the Consumer Practice. She will support search work across the entirety of the Consumer sector, focusing on finance and operations, as well as expansion within the sustainable retail, green production, and outdoor recreation sectors.
