Hallmark Health Care Solutions, a leading healthcare workforce management technology company, announced the appointments of Michael Boes, Sarah Larsen, and Scott Bangerter as the newest Regional Senior Vice Presidents to deliver on the company’s sales and growth initiatives. They will join Matt Dane, a tenured SVP of Sales at the company, who will assume the role of Regional SVP in the Midwest. Together, this team will lead groups of dedicated professionals who provide strategic and operational guidance to Hallmark’s hospital and health system clients helping improve the efficiency of their workforce management and reducing the costs associated with contingent labor.
“We’re proud to welcome Michael, Sarah and Scott to the Hallmark team as our newest Regional SVPs,” said William Reau, Chief Revenue Officer at Hallmark. “With proven track records of success delivering innovative and impactful solutions that enhance client satisfaction, retention, and revenue in the healthcare staffing industry, they’ll each play a critical role in Hallmark’s mission to help healthcare organizations transform their workforce management programs.”
Michael Boes brings over 15 years of sales leadership experience in the staffing and healthcare industries at a variety of companies, including AMN Healthcare and SnapCare. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Job.com. Boes brings a depth of experience leading companies in their strategy, growth, and innovation.
“The past few years have presented challenges for health systems but have been fruitful for staffing organizations. As someone deeply committed to prioritizing client needs, it was disheartening to witness economic factors overshadowing those needs,” said Boes. “Hallmark is a company that prioritizes alignment with client interests, and I’m excited to be part of a team where our success is aligned with our customers’ goals of maximizing reductions in contract labor costs.”
Sarah Larsen is a growth-oriented executive with 25+ years of commercial team leadership, business development, growth strategy and executive search experience in the healthcare industry. Sarah spent 20 years leading commercial teams at the Advisory Board Company (now a division of Optum), including driving market launches for dozens of healthcare services and technology products for hospitals and health systems. Larsen possesses an innate ability to lead successful teams in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
“The financial realities of provider staffing continue to negatively impact hospitals and health systems nationwide. Add to this the confluence of pandemic-influenced pressure on clinical care teams and evolving consumer expectations, and you get the perfect storm,” said Larsen. “Combining the best of technology with a warm human touch, Hallmark’s contingent labor management platform delivers modernized, practical workforce solutions at a time when our industry needs them the most. I am thrilled to join this world class team and help expand Hallmark’s reach and impact.”
Scott Bangerter has spent the last two decades providing hospitals and health systems with strategic guidance to improve their staffing solutions, including serving as the VP of Strategic Talent Solutions at AMN Healthcare and principal of his own nurse staffing firm. Drawing upon his industry expertise, Bangerter is well-equipped to position Hallmark’s partner hospitals and health systems for a better financial future.
When discussing his appointment to SVP, he added, “I firmly believe everyone has the right to access quality healthcare. Hallmark’s intuitive workforce solutions combine the right technology, talented people, and intricate processes to deliver on this belief by guiding hospitals and health systems nationwide to better source and retain the top clinical talent to best serve their communities and patient populations.”
