Workplace equity technology firm Trusaic is partnering with the Fair Pay Innovation Lab (FPI) to help organizations validate and communicate their pay practices are free of discrimination through accurate and unbiased certification. Organizations working with Trusaic can attain FPI’s internationally recognized Universal Fair Pay Check certification, a process designed to ensure neutral, objective and stereotype-free compensation structures which address unjustified pay differences, close wage gaps and prevent new ones from forming.
Trusaic’s PayParity® software platform coupled with Universal Fair Pay Check certification provides organizations with data-driven solutions necessary for achieving, sustaining, and verifying progress towards pay equity goals. PayParity analyzes pay equity at the intersections of gender, race/ethnicity, age, disability, and other demographics in one statistical regression analysis. Its innovative Salary Range Finder™ tool eliminates the need to remediate disparities by ensuring fair pay from the start.
Universal Fair Pay Check certification unites the best statutory initiatives in the world: the pay analyses from Switzerland, the standardization process from Iceland and the transparency initiative from Great Britain. It takes into account legislation already in place and upcoming legislation, so certification is possible regardless of location and legislation in force. Its quality has been verified by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). In addition, the FPI Screening Board of international experts from the United Kingdom, Iceland and Germany monitors the effectiveness of the certification.
The FPI regularly brings all actors in the labor market together, including experts and decision-makers from the fields of industry, commerce, academia, and politics, through its Fair Pay Management Circles. The FPI also hosts the Fair Pay Global Forum and Fair Pay Political Roundtable, parallel events held during the annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women in New York, addressing how to translate fair pay into practice.
