UNLEASH World 2024 – the world’s most influential HR conference and exhibition – has drawn to a close after two-days of incredible insights about the future of work.

Thousands of senior HR leaders from 111 countries heard how major global companies are transforming the experience of employees and driving business success.

Among the highlights were the chief learning officers of L’Oreal, Novo Nordisk, Sodexo and BCG sharing their cutting-edge learning initiatives; Ola Fadipe showcasing how responsible AI is shaping the future of work at Google; and the Cardinal Group’s Peter Lynch advocating for authentic leadership.

Keynote speakers and global thought leaders shared compelling predictions about how artificial intelligence and other technologies will continue to change the nature of work and HR:

• Nexxworks founder Peter Hinnsen urged HR leaders to champion AI automation and digitalization;
• Futurist Amy Webb told delegates to embrace the unknown and plan for the ‘future you want’ to prevent being left behind by technological advances;
• HR thought-leader Josh Bersin spoke about the potential of artificial intelligence to transform productivity by enabling employees to instantly find answers to work-related questions; and
• Leadership expert Dr Kirstin Ferguson closed proceedings with a powerful message for leaders about balancing curiosity and empathy.

Showcasing new HR technology

UNLEASH World continues to be the premier global event for showcasing innovative HR technologies. After a highly competitive live pitch by five startups, Welliba was crowned winner of the UNLEASH Startup 2024 Award, securing a €50,000 UNLEASH Sponsorship package including exhibition opportunities at UNLEASH events and access to the UNLEASH Labs innovation hub.

The expansive expo of HR technologies also provided HR leaders with the chance to experience new and emerging innovations close up, including from event sponsors Eightfold AI, Atlas, HiBob, Phenom, Radancy, Workday, SAP and Workhuman.
