National employee benefits provider Trustmark has promoted Daniel Hanke, formerly Vice President, Infrastructure Operations, to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, Hanke will advance Trustmark’s ongoing digital transformation and lead deployment of technology solutions that simplify benefit offerings, engage consumers and help employers adapt to the changing workplace environment.

Hanke joined Trustmark in 2015 as Vice President, Infrastructure and Operations, after 13 years at Rockwell Automation, where he served as Director of Global Infrastructure. There, he was responsible for the full life cycle of end-user services across all regions, managing multi-million dollar operating and capital improvement budgets and a staff of more than 250. Prior to Rockwell Automation, Hanke also worked as a consultant, advising Fortune 500 companies on strategic planning, process design and global infrastructure implementation.
At Trustmark, Hanke has successfully focused on operational excellence, streamlining and modernizing infrastructure to enhance productivity and service delivery. He has established and managed relationships with leading external vendor partners, and he has delivered on multi-year projects that facilitate ongoing improvements in cybersecurity, technology and business resiliency and more.

Hanke earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Lubar School of Business.
