SurePeople, an integrated HR and work tech platform powered by data science and people analytics, today announced that it has promoted Demetra Anagnostopoulos to co-CEO, alongside Founder, Chairman and co-CEO Niko Drakoulis.
The company also announced the expansion of its executive leadership team to accelerate the next phase of its growth and innovation, driven by strong demand for its prescriptive and predictive solutions across leadership development, team optimization, talent strategy and DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging).
Demetra is an accomplished 25-year industry veteran in the leadership, learning and development space. Most recently, she has served as SurePeople’s EVP, Customer Success, spearheading organizational transformations for clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to the nation’s most prestigious medical institutions on the frontline of the global pandemic. Prior to joining SurePeople in 2015, Demetra was Global Head of Partnerships at Interaction Associates, a “Top 20” leadership development company.
In her new expanded role, Demetra will oversee business development, client implementations and customer success, while Niko will continue to oversee SurePeople’s product innovation, technology roadmap and overall corporate & financial strategy.
“Since joining SurePeople, Demetra has served as an exemplary leader, a valued team member and a trusted advisor to some of the nation’s top CHROs, HR professionals and business leaders,” said Niko Drakoulis, SurePeople Founder, Chairman and co-CEO. “I’m thrilled to name her co-CEO as we accelerate strong growth, global scale and innovation on behalf of our clients in 2021 and beyond.”
“I am honored to be partnered with Niko Drakoulis, who I deem one of the most gifted and mission-driven CEOs I have ever met,” said Demetra Anagnostopoulos, SurePeople co-CEO. “I am grateful for the opportunity to help lead an extraordinary team into SurePeople’s next phase of growth, and the realization of our purpose and mission in the world.”
During the past year, SurePeople has significantly grown its customer base, secured major account expansions, announced a groundbreaking partnership with Harvard Business Publishing for prescriptive digital learning and achieved a near 100 percent client retention as organizations leveraged its platform to succeed in the new world of work.
As a result, the company expanded its leadership team. In 2020, SurePeople named Phyllis Millikan – former North American Career Management Practice Leader for ManpowerGroup’s Talent Management division, Right Management – as its EVP, Customer Solutions & Partnerships.
More recently, the company promoted Yanni Lolis to President of Product, overseeing the entire SurePeople platform and solutions, and named Paul Tsagaroulis Ph.D. as EVP, People Analytics. Paul has more than 20 years’ experience in HR, data science and people analytics, with an expertise in optimizing workforce performance using data-driven methods. He was formerly Director of Analytics at Carrier Corporation.
