Announcing Wellness Labs by Mindhouse

HR professionals

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our new community initiative, Wellness Labs – a collaborative learning platform for senior HR professionals, focused on transitioning work environments during and after the pandemic.

The last 9 months have led to a significant change in the way we work. Working from Home is the new normal, and we are more digitized than ever before. Major companies like Microsoft and Twitter have already made WFH a permanent option for many of their employees, while others are doing away with office spaces.

While the change comes with its positives of giving employees more flexibility and savings, WFH has had a severe negative impact as well. A large number of people have had to upskill or re-skill and adopt digitization. The lines between personal and professional life are blurred, and there is an increasing burden of care on women; all leading to elevated stress levels. Meanwhile, corporates have had to re-examine their business models, and simultaneously change the way they work, enable leadership, change communication modes, and remodel work infrastructure. Keeping morale high and driving effective employee engagement have been among the biggest challenges faced by most corporations.

In this scenario, Wellness Labs provides a platform that enables discussions with peers, experienced professionals and experts, to create tangible solutions & new policies. In addition to this network, Wellness Labs also gives members access to professional coaches and industry leaders, who can help with specific problems which employees are facing.

While plenty of other communities for HR professionals do exist, most of these are quite large and the format doesn’t necessarily allow for topic-specific micro-discussions. Some of the discussions which have started on our platform include:

  • Effectively dealing with COVID at the workplace, while ensuring safety protocols
  • Improving participation and adoption of health and wellness initiatives for employees and their families
  • How organizations can help employees improve productivity while working from home
