- Partnership reduces learning content curation time by 50%
- HowNow supports 80% reduction in L&D onboarding admin
- 75% of total workforce uses HowNow every working day
AND Digital – the trusted technology consulting partner for ambitious, mid-market organisations – today shares the business benefits being delivered through its partnership with skills-first learning platform, HowNow.
AND Digital engaged HowNow in early 2023 to support future-ready upskilling and increase speed to competence for new hires. The company was also keen to centralise its knowledge into one engaging learning platform that would also empower employees to become internal content creators.
Headquartered in the UK with cross-functional teams in The Netherlands and USA, AND Digital creates and delivers transformative digital experiences that drive competitive advantage and sustainable growth for its valued clients. The company employs 800 people, of whom 80% are client-facing consultants.
Three years post implementation, the partnership is delivering real business impact. By integrating LinkedIn Learning with HowNow, AND Digital has reduced L&D and subject matter expert curation time by ~50%. This has simplified the creation of practice-specific learning pathways, increasing efficiency and ensuring that learning content remains aligned to business priorities.
The AND Digital team has also reduced employee onboarding from a traditional week-long induction to a single, high-impact learning event. This represents an 80% L&D time-saving and enables new joiners to integrate faster, accelerating speed to competence.
Commenting on these significant time-savings, Tara Ryan-Tedford, Learning and Development Lead at AND Digital, said: “HowNow has been the linchpin of this transition. By housing structured onboarding pathways and post-induction support in one accessible place, we’ve been able to move toward a self-serve, on-demand resource model. As an L&D team, this has also reduced our induction admin by 80%.”
Following the recent launch of a high profile pathway on AI Enablement, 75% of employees are also visiting HowNow every working day, which Tara describes as a “huge testament to the value it’s delivering.”
Tara concluded: “We wanted an agile partner and HowNow definitely ticks that box. The platform is purpose-built to support skills-driven learning and we really like that it enables people to create and contribute their own content. We have lots of technical experts so enabling them to share their knowledge with colleagues is part of our future-proofing strategy.”
Nelson Sivalingam, Co-founder and CEO at HowNow, added: “The AND Digital team is committed to building consultant capability and future-ready skills, and we’re delighted to be supporting such a fantastic organisation. Our skills-first partnership is driving faster expansion and diversification of AND Digital’s consulting services and we’re thrilled to be supporting them on this critical journey.”
