Alight Launches GenAI Tool for Personalized Benefits Enrollment Help
SHARE

Alight, Inc. (NYSE: ALIT), a leading cloud-based human capital and technology-enabled services provider, today introduced the limited release of its new generative AI-driven solution on Alight Worklife® for benefits enrollment optimization and benefits utilization during the 2025 annual enrollment season. The new tool expands upon Alight’s existing AI capabilities by integrating user-driven data to power personalized guidance throughout an employee’s benefits enrollment journey.

“With Alight’s conversational AI solution, we are bringing a new level of simplicity, personalization and confidence to annual enrollment,” said Lenny Fayard, Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and AI at Alight. “By harnessing the power of AI, employees can more easily navigate their options and make more informed, confident decisions, while employers can have peace of mind helping their people choose the benefits that best meet their needs.”

Key features of this tool include:

  • A generative AI-powered benefits assistant that goes beyond the capabilities of a traditional chatbot. Integrated across Alight Worklife®, the assistant draws from an employer’s benefits plan documentation, policy information and available programs to deliver personalized, context-aware support. By understanding what an employee is eligible for and what they’re viewing on-screen, the assistant engages in natural, guided conversations that help them complete benefits-related tasks and make informed decisions around their annual enrollment selections. The result is a connected experience that breaks down benefit silos and drives greater efficiency.
  • Continuous, seamless user experiences across desktop and mobile, where an employee can easily continue their benefits selections from one device to another.

Alight’s analysis of over 10 million individuals during 2024 annual enrollment found nearly 96% of users enrolled in benefits through digital channels alongside a 69% increase in mobile app usage compared to 2023. Alight’s conversational AI assistant ensures employees receive the support they need across every touchpoint.

Alight’s solution is being piloted with a limited number of clients during the 2025 annual enrollment season alongside its traditional benefits enrollment offerings and is planned for general release in 2026.
