New medical center near Kansas City International Airport strengthens workforce health resources for the region’s growing business and transportation hub

Concentra (NYSE: CON), the nation’s largest provider of occupational health services, today announced the opening of a new medical center in Kansas City, Missouri, further expanding access to specialized workforce health services in one of the Midwest’s most dynamic business and transportation hubs.

Located at 10304 NW Prairie View Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64153, Concentra Kansas City Airport will provide a comprehensive suite of occupational health services designed to help employers maintain healthy, productive workforces while supporting employees throughout their health and recovery journeys.

The new medical center expands Concentra’s growing presence in Missouri and reflects the company’s continued investment in communities where employers are seeking greater access to occupational medicine expertise, injury care, regulatory compliance services, and workforce health solutions.

“Kansas City is home to a diverse and growing employer base that depends on a healthy workforce to keep operations moving,” said Raad Yaldo, DO, senior vice president of medical operations for Concentra. “By opening this medical center near one of the region’s key centers of commerce and transportation, we are increasing access to specialized occupational health care that helps employers manage risk, support employee well-being, and promote safe, timely return-to-work outcomes.”

The Kansas City Airport medical center will provide work injury care, physical therapy, drug and alcohol testing, Department of Transportation physical examinations, pre-placement examinations, medical surveillance services and a broad range of occupational health services. Employees with minor work-related injuries will also have access to Concentra Telemed®, the company’s proprietary telemedicine platform, providing convenient access to care when and where it is needed.

As employers continue to navigate workforce shortages, rising health care costs, and increasingly complex regulatory requirements, access to occupational medicine has become an important component of business continuity and workforce management. Concentra’s clinical model is designed to help employers reduce lost work time, improve workforce productivity, and support safer workplaces through coordinated care, clear communication, and data-driven insights.

For more than 45 years, Concentra has focused on occupational and workforce health, helping employers manage workplace injuries, improve employee health outcomes, and streamline workforce health programs through an integrated network of medical centers, onsite health services, and virtual care solutions. Today, Concentra serves employers across the country through a nationwide network of medical centers and onsite health clinics.

“The opening of Concentra Kansas City Airport represents more than a new location,” Yaldo said. “It represents our commitment to helping local employers access the occupational health resources they need to keep their businesses running, their employees healthy and their workplaces safe.”
