Accenture Launches National Career Training Initiative

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) today announced a new national Veterans-focused talent initiative designed to provide training and career development support to help Officers and Senior Enlisted personnel successfully translate their skills and transition to private sector careers.

The Trump Administration has made AI education and workforce development a national priority, critical to driving U.S. innovation and global competitiveness. This focus was reinforced at yesterday’s White House AI Education Taskforce meeting, hosted by the First Lady and attended by industry leaders, including Accenture. Today’s announcement marks another step forward in advancing broad access to AI education and enabling future-ready AI talent.

“Training and skilling have become an urgent priority for leaders as organizations look to harness the incredible power and opportunities of AI and other advanced technologies,” said Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture. “Former U.S. military officers and senior enlisted personnel bring unparalleled discipline, adaptability and leadership qualities, honed through years of dedicated service. Our program is a strategic investment in unlocking Veterans’ potential and equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in the age of AI, as well as helping the U.S. more quickly adopt AI at scale to dominate the global AI race.”

The program addresses the unique challenges faced by Veterans who operate at a very senior leadership level and who are striving to translate military expertise into civilian career opportunities. Through tailored skilling and career development support, Accenture has the expertise and access to flexible learning opportunities needed to help bridge this gap.

Participants will gain access to curated learning experiences powered by Accenture LearnVantage, an AI-powered learning service with a flexible and self-directed, synchronous and asynchronous curriculum. LearnVantage integrates capabilities from recent Accenture acquisitions, including Udacity and Ascendient Learning, and provides hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and practical experience in skill areas critical to success in today’s evolving job market. This initiative will give Veterans access to courses and nanodegrees across a range of topics, including emerging areas like agentic AI, and will equip them with technical mentorship as well as broader career support like interview prep and resume assistance.

“Our goal is to scale this training for officers and senior enlisted personnel quickly, create clear career paths, and connect them with meaningful opportunities in high-growth sectors,” added Sweet. “By combining their inherent strengths with our world-class training capabilities, we can open the door to rewarding careers—honoring our heroes while developing exceptional talent that will help organizations across the U.S. create new value.”
