“We are so ecstatic that we won a Stevie Award. All of our efforts building an awesome culture of care, philanthropy, and genuine love for our clients, employees, and the world, in of itself, is the real reward! We are so grateful for the gentle “tip of the hat” we have received as recognition for our efforts. In this day and age, the importance of giving and showing gratitude needs to be shared and celebrated,” says Samer Khouli, CEO.
More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. TargetCW was nominated in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Company of the Year categories for organizations with up to 2,500 employees.
Although the company has been involved with numerous charities since its inception, the official Corporate Social Responsibility campaign, #HowItShouldBe: Cutting Through the Noise, was launched in October of 2019. The campaign consisted of 4 pillars: R.O.H.R.! (Recognizing Our Human Responsibility), B.A.R.K.! (Building ANIMAL Responsibility & Kindness), H.O.W.L.S. (HELPING Others When Life Sucks), and G.R.O.W.L.! (Graciously Raising Our WORLD LEADERS). Within each pillar, there are various initiatives, events, and charities that the company supports.
More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. “Amazing work and contribution in enhancing lives through children’s education support to technology to healthcare and animal care,” said one of the judges of the entry. “Absolutely brilliant CSR initiatives.”
TargetCW’s second win was for the Company of the Year – Business & Professional Services – Award. This award stemmed from the organization seeing substantial growth and achievement throughout the last year. These accomplishments include the building and launch of an e-commerce site, expansion of learning tools, exceptional performance within client and worker satisfaction surveys, and cutting-edge additions to their proprietary software, StaffingNation.
“Despite the toughest business conditions in memory, American organizations continue to demonstrate their commitment to innovation, creativity, and bottom-line results,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “This year’s Stevie-winning nominations are full of inspiring stories of persistence, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and compassion. We celebrate all of their stories and look forward to showcasing them during our virtual awards ceremony on August 5.”
