Rocket Software Names Julie Law as Chief People Officer

The company bolsters its senior leadership to further serve its customers and employees

Rocket Software, a global technology leader that develops enterprise software for some of the world’s largest companies, today announced Julie Law will serve as the company’s Chief People Officer. Law assumes the role as the company continues to invest in its mission to help customers modernize across infrastructure, data and applications without disruption.

In her new role, Law will lead all aspects of the employee experience. She’ll be responsible for building upon Rocket Software’s people-centric culture and will focus on ensuring a positive experience for all her current and prospective colleagues where they can learn, grow and prosper. Reporting to Rocket Software’s President and CEO, Milan Shetti, Law will work with the executive leadership team to further the company’s reputation as an innovative workplace offering tremendous career growth opportunities. Law will be responsible for her colleagues’ onboarding experience, including hiring, training, recruitment and retention. She will also lead RIDE, Rocket Software’s inclusion, diversity, and equity program, fostering an environment and sense of belonging across the organization where all dimensions of diversity are celebrated.

Prior to joining Rocket Software, Law served as the Head of Human Resources for John Hancock, the U.S. segment of Toronto-based Manulife, and Global Head of Talent Management for Manulife. In her role at John Hancock, Law was responsible for cultivating an engaging, inclusive and collaborative working environment. She also oversaw talent and performance management, team engagement, leadership development and Manulife’s employee recognition program. Before her time at John Hancock, Law worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and spent 19 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in a variety of executive roles where she built and executed human resource strategies to drive business results. As the global leader of the Talent Management Center of Excellence, she transformed PwC’s global talent strategy and processes across 155 countries impacting over 275,000 people. Law graduated from Wittenberg University with a B.A. in Sociology.
