Modern Health, a leading global workplace mental health platform, today announced the appointment of Matt Levin as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Founder and former CEO Alyson Watson will transition into the role of Executive Chair of the Board, where she will continue to shape the company’s long-term vision and strategy.

Levin brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the benefits, healthcare, and HR technology and services sectors. He most recently served as CEO of People 2.0, a global HR services platform enabling flexible work across more than 50 countries. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Benefitfocus, which was acquired by Voya Financial in 2023. Levin also spent over a decade in executive leadership roles at Hewitt Associates and Aon, and served on the board of OneDigital—giving him extensive expertise in the benefits consulting space. Named to Crain’s Chicago “40 Under 40” and the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leaders,” Levin holds degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. A longtime advocate for workplace innovation and well-being, he is widely recognized for his ability to scale high-growth organizations and drive meaningful impact.
