HireRight, the background check provider will now be providing users with continuous post-hire monitoring facilities via an agreement with Appriss Insights, the data solutions company. The hrtech news arena previously featured HireRight for announcing Form I-9 and E-Verify services.
The on-demand background check firm has released its solution of Arrest Record Monitoring draws data from the incarceration database of Appriss. This solution sends alerts to the employer whenever the arrest of an employee is verified. The company stated that this provides employers with the opportunity to talk over and discuss matters with their staff and employees, and also take any decisive actions if need be.
Scott Collins, the Chief Revenue Officer at HireRight stated that despite pre-hire background checks being significantly standard in onboarding and talent acquisition processes, post-hire monitoring is what will support these firms over a longer span of time because of the there is a possibility that the behavior of the employee will change.
The company believes that conducting background checks and post-hire monitoring is extremely imperative as the job market scuffles under the grip of the global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic translating into a sudden increase in the unemployment rate of countries. A lot of organizations and employers have expanded their use of remote employees along with them moving towards hiring part-time workers as well as gig workers. This means the risk is elevated and that mirrors the surge of the need for screening the backgrounds as well as post-hire monitoring, stated the company.
