Epoch Announced the Launch of Communities

New feature empowers DEIB leaders to streamline event coordination and management to drive meaningful employee engagement

Epoch Announced the Launch of Communities

Epoch, the leading employee experience platform, today announces the launch of Communities, a new feature designed to help organizations more effectively manage Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and culture groups. Communities will empower Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) leaders and culture program managers to organize, scale, and track the impact of cultural initiatives seamlessly under one dashboard.

DEIB leaders are plagued with administrative and engagement challenges, particularly in hybrid and remote work environments. Manually managing memberships, coordinating events, tracking engagement, and measuring attendance can be time-consuming, detracting leaders from fostering meaningful environments. Employees often have to use multiple platforms to organize and schedule events, making it difficult to ensure visibility which may lead to decreased involvement.

Communities enables Epoch customers to manage ERGs and culture groups within a centralized platform, reducing administrative burdens and enhancing engagement. DEIB leaders have access to instant analytics that measure membership engagement through custom surveys and attendance tracking to help them make informed decisions to improve employee experiences. Communities builds upon Epoch’s existing suite of tools, including Events and Insights which offers users a data-driven approach to group participation and activity analysis. Epoch connects with the most common day-to-day tools to create a seamless experience that keeps members up-to-date and included.

“At Greenhouse, we’re committed to building a culture of belonging, and our Arbors (that’s how we call our Greenhouse ERGs) are a key part of that. We’re excited for Epoch Communities as a way to streamline our Arbors operations by centralizing event management, automating communications, and providing real-time analytics,” said Jamie Adasi, Director, People Experience & Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Allyship of Greenhouse Software. “With better structure and insights, we can scale our programs, measure impact more effectively, and empower our Arbor leaders. As a remote-first company, this will help us better support our employees, foster engagement, and create meaningful connections across teams.”

“Epoch’s Communities feature is a must-have tool for DEIB and culture leaders,” said Jade Choy, Co-founder and CEO of Epoch. “More importantly, this frees up ERG leads and DEI teams to spend less time on manual processes and focus more on fostering a positive workplace culture. With this launch, we’re staying true to our north star to ensure employee experiences are genuine and impactful to all.”

Epoch focuses on building the best employee experiences for companies including Salesforce, Workday, Reddit, Datadog, Asana, Toast, Udemy, and others. Those companies have reported an increase in event engagement since integrating the platform, with 90% or more of registered employees participating in events. Epoch is a one-stop shop to manage everything from company announcements to events, learning programs, AMAs and more. The platform enables employers to make informed decisions about initiatives for employees based on the analytics generated by ongoing campaigns. The end result is a responsive company culture that delivers on the values of the people who work there.
