Connetic Ventures invests in Harmony

Connetic Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that leverages data and artificial intelligence to invest in the highest potential founders, is proud to announce a new investment in Harmony, a digital platform that utilizes AI to personalize communication in the workplace. Connetic is investing pre-revenue.

Harmony was flagged by Connetic’s proprietary AI bot, Wendal. Wendal combines data and industrial psychology to the world of venture capital by analyzing founders and their team, allowing Connetic to conduct in-depth quantitative diligence on the people running the company and invest in private market opportunities earlier than any other investors. Harmony scored in the top 3% of companies in the Wendal database, while founders Zach Gunderson and David Barta were identified as the perfect “Dynamic Duo” (Disruptor + Traditionalist).

“Harmony had one of the highest scores we have ever seen, primarily driven by the co-founders, and supporting team,” said Chris Hjelm, Fund Manager at Connetic Ventures. “We likely would have done the deal, regardless of what they were building. The fact that they are leveraging AI and industrial psychology to reinvent workplace communication was just a cherry on top!”

Powered by generative AI, Harmony is designed to harmonize the workforce by identifying different communication styles and modifying written communication to fit the needs of the recipient, eliminating risk of miscommunication. Harmony integrates with native workflows and common workplace platforms, is trained on interpersonal communication strategies, and secures data as it never leaves the platform.

Connetic’s investment in Harmony is a testament to the potential of AI and industrial psychology in revolutionizing workplace communication. With this investment, Harmony is poised to make a significant impact.

“As a first-time founder from flyover country during an extremely dry season for raising capital, traditional VCs were using a tired old formula to evaluate (and pass) on our company. In reality, they will soon find out what they missed on,” said Harmony’s CEO Zach Gunderson. “Connetic’s process is modern. It’s Moneyball for Venture Capital, truly based on science. Not only that, but they have also been an incredible partner. Flexible, helpful, non-intrusive, and fast. The Wendal tools for team building and evaluation are also absolutely clutch.”

“Working with Connetic has been excellent,” said Harmony Founder, David Barta. “Their questions went as deep into the founders and our team as they did on the product, which was a telling difference from other VC’s we’ve interacted with. The process was efficient, they knew exactly the data points they needed to get to a decision.”
