The original pioneer of coworking in the Twin Cities has reclaimed the Coco brand identity for its next stage of growth, after a 5-year run as Fueled Collective. This bold move solidifies its founding commitment to transform hybrid work strategies to include convenient, engaging, and scalable workplace environments. Since the traditional office lease was decimated by the pandemic, hybrid organizations are increasingly gravitating towards coworking companies to supplement the shortcomings of remote work.
The return to Coco reflects the organization’s long-standing leadership in defining and addressing the latest trends in the workspace industry. The Coco brand has taken on a fresh look and feel, and includes new concepts and locations designed to meet hybrid companies, and individuals, where they are at in their workplace evolution.
“Our mission to become your neighborhood workplace company recognizes that employees are no longer willing to endure unnecessary, long commutes to the office. People don’t want to work from home, as much as they want the option to work near home. With two Minneapolis locations, Coco is well-positioned to expand and accommodate the growing needs of companies who want to provide a part-time reprieve from the isolation of the home office,” said Kyle Coolbroth, Founder & CEO of Coco.
Demanding a return to empty offices has resulted in confusing expectations and ultimately, low job satisfaction. Since 2009, Coco has designed hybrid workspaces that create meaning and purpose, and enables companies to scale as needed, with low-risk and flexible terms.
“Shorthand for everything we do together, the “co” in Coco has always represented coworking, collaboration, and connection,” said Coolbroth. “Now, more than ever, these attributes play an essential role in today’s hybrid work culture where people are languishing between the home and work office. Getting the return-to-work plan right is critical, and desperately needed for the majority of today’s workforce.”
“I hear from leaders that they are struggling to address the diverse work preferences of their employees while simultaneously addressing the constantly shifting needs of the business. The reality is, they (and their employees) can have the best of both worlds. We provide an affordable, full suite of on-demand and permanent spaces that include offices, coworking, meeting rooms, event venues, and professional mail services. These are designed to help organizations avoid costly commitments that eat away, unnecessarily, at their bottom line,” said Colleen Moselle, President & Chief Operating Officer.
The first of several new announcements coming from Coco, this move is an important step in transforming how Twin Cities residents and companies see beyond the limits of current workplace solutions to realize a more fulfilling work life.
