Bullhorn, the cloud computing company that helps staffing and recruiting organizations transform their businesses, has promoted Kelley Morse to Chief People Officer. Based in Boston, Morse will oversee Bullhorn’s global human resource organization, including talent acquisition, HR business partners, people operations, compensation, learning and development, analytics, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Morse has a long history of helping organizations scale while building agile, high-performing teams.

Since joining Bullhorn three years ago, Morse has led the development of the people, systems, and programs in the HR organization in order to prioritize data-driven decision-making, scale the organization, and continue to support an inclusive culture. Bullhorn has achieved record growth during her tenure, expanding from 1,000 to over 1,600 employees, with hundreds of employees hired in 2022 alone. Under Morse’s leadership, the company has increased the percentage of BIPOC talent at the company by 45% over the past three years. Morse also oversaw the implementation of new performance management and compensation tools, as well as a new leadership training program.

Following in the path of numerous other Bullhorn leaders, Morse has seen tremendous career growth at the company: after being hired as a senior director, she was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources upon returning from maternity leave in her first year, and then one year later she was promoted to Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Bullhorn, Morse spent close to a decade working in human resources at high-growth start-ups, including ConcertAI and Flywire, where she served in a variety of HR roles and developed an agile approach to support the needs of evolving businesses. She started her career working in contract recruitment. Morse holds a M.B.A. from Suffolk University and a B.A. in Communications from Gustavus Adolphus College.

I am really excited to continue my work at Bullhorn as Chief People Officer,” said Morse. “We have a tremendous opportunity to continue to grow the company while maintaining the special culture that makes Bullhorn a place where people want to build their careers and to deliver an incredible customer experience. We have a great team, and I am looking forward to turning up the volume in 2023.”

“Kelley has not only built an amazing team, but she’s also successfully tackled a number of systems and process challenges at Bullhorn, which will help us scale as we build a $1 billion revenue company,” said founder and CEO Art Papas. “Kelley’s practical and business-driven approach is a great match for us, and I’m excited to be working more closely with her in her new role.”
