Automatic Payroll Systems, Inc. (APS), a provider of best-in-class workforce management technology, announces today that TrustRadius has recognized APS with a 2020 Tech Cares Award. This award celebrates companies that have gone above and beyond to provide their communities, clients, and front line workers with support during the COVID-19 crisis.
“2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic has brought unique challenges to many businesses and people within the TrustRadius community and globally. It’s also given many the opportunity to demonstrate their service to those same communities,” said Megan Headley, Vice President of Research at TrustRadius. “We’ve seen reviewers praise a wide array of products and software vendors for how they have supported users through the pandemic, including a rapid transition to remote work, navigating challenging financial circumstances, and setting users’ minds at ease. In an environment that has emphasized hardship and loss for much of this year, it’s affirming to see how members of our community and industry strive to lend a helping hand where they can.”
At APS, our mission is to make payroll and HR easier. As a payroll and HR technology company with an in-house development team, APS worked diligently to provide COVID-19 products and enhancements. The goal of these software releases is to help our customers better navigate workflow changes as a result of COVID-19. These updates include:
- Additional COVID sick-leave income types to provide a more transparent and easier process for managing employees’ paid sick leave.
- A COVID-19 Response Team that provides expertise and additional support to our clients on all COVID-19 related matters.
- A COVID-19 Dashboard that consolidates essential information for HR managers without digging through multiple resources.
- An FFCRA Dashboard that equips organizations with the information needed to make future financial decisions.
- Several reports were added to the APS platform, including a Paycheck Protection Program Export, PPP Loan Forgiveness Report, and FFCRA Tax Credit Report. These reports automate what would otherwise be very time-consuming calculation processes.
“When we looked at the impact of the pandemic on HR and payroll tasks, our objective was to simplify compliance changes for our customers,” said Aaron Johnson, President and CEO at APS. “We gave our clients an easier way to manage individual needs through our platform, along with access to support and resources, so they didn’t have to navigate this challenging time alone.”
“We are excited to announce our first-ever Tech Cares Award Winners,” said TrustRadius CEO Vinay Bhagat. “This pandemic isn’t just a test of fortitude. It’s an opportunity to distinguish yourself. We have been completely inspired by the way the B2B technology industry responded to COVID-19. So many companies pivoted with grace, leading to many of them standing out in our minds as major community contributors during this time. Not only do we feel that these companies are deserving of recognition–we also consider their example when deciding how we ourselves can find new ways to give back.”
To be accepted for the Tech Cares Award, each nominated organization had to be a B2B technology company that demonstrated above-and-beyond caring during the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone was welcome to nominate an organization for this award, including those who work for or with the company. All nominations were thoroughly vetted by the TrustRadius research team.
In addition to nominations, the Tech Cares Award was also given on the basis of reviewer feedback on TrustRadius. Organizations whose reviews clearly illustrated how much they care during this crisis have also been recognized.
