CHG Healthcare Names Greg Chang General Manager and VP of CareerMD

The appointment strengthens CHG’s ability to support physicians at key career milestones

CHG Healthcare has appointed Greg Chang as General Manager and Vice President of CareerMD, where he will lead product strategy and partnerships to better support clinicians navigating training transitions and career choices.

Chang will lead CareerMD’s efforts to strengthen its long-standing presence in graduate medical education while expanding the company’s value across multiple stages of a physician’s professional journey. CareerMD already maintains a highly recognizable brand among residents, fellows, and attending physicians and operates a national network of more than 100 in‑person career fairs, many in underserved or difficult‑to‑reach geographies. It also offers virtual programming, active candidate sourcing, and recruitment advertising — supporting physicians as they grow throughout their careers.

“CareerMD has built trust with physicians at some of the most important moments in their training and throughout their careers,” Chang said. “That foundation gives us a powerful platform to deepen how we support them as they make decisions that shape their futures. I’m excited to help strengthen those connections, reach more physicians in more communities, and bring fresh energy to solving the nation’s growing workforce challenges.”

Chang brings deep insight into how physicians search for opportunities and employers engage clinical talent. He most recently served as Managing Director of Health eCareers, the largest healthcare job board in the U.S. Prior to that role, he founded forMD, a physician network that partnered with more than 80 medical schools and societies. He also held operational and digital strategy roles at Duke University Medical Center.

“What sets Greg apart is his deep respect for the physician experience and his ability to turn that understanding into modern, scalable tools,” said Scott Boecker, Chief Growth Officer at CHG. “He has helped physicians connect with the right opportunities at critical moments in their careers, and he’s pushed the recruitment industry forward with technology that meets clinicians where they are. His leadership will further CareerMD’s goal of supporting physicians at every stage of their professional journey.”
