Former Boston Consulting Group executive with nearly 20 years of human resources and operations experience to lead Judi Health’s people operations and workforce development strategy amid rapid national expansion

Judi Health, the enterprise health technology company and full-service benefits administrator and parent company of transparent pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), Capital Rx, today announced the appointment of Sara Bunn to its executive leadership team as the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Bunn brings nearly 20 years of human resources (HR) experience to the role, most recently with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) – one of the world’s premier consulting firms – serving as an Executive Director. In her new role, Bunn will be responsible for Judi Health’s end-to-end people strategy, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, workforce development, employee relations, and shaping the corporate culture.

Bunn’s appointment comes during a pivotal moment for Judi Health following its recent $400M investment and Series F funding round, and as industry demand for transparent, technology-driven pharmacy and health benefit solutions intensifies nationwide. With scaling across service lines, Bunn’s role in strengthening the company’s HR infrastructure will be foundational to supporting this enterprise growth.

“Sara is an incredible addition to our leadership team as we evolve from being a national leader in benefit administration into a world-class technology company,” said AJ Loiacono, co-founder and CEO of Judi Health. “As we continue to scale, the sophistication of our benefits programs and our ability to develop a high-performing employee experience are critical to our growth.”

Judi Health’s employee head count has tripled since the beginning of 2024 and continues to expand nationally with new offices opening in Denver and Charlotte. The company is actively recruiting skilled healthcare labor, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, developers, engineers, product and marketing specialists, and client and member support and service professionals.

Bunn will lead the development and modernization of Judi Health’s people architecture, including the systems, programs, and talent pipelines needed to support the company’s growth trajectory. She will partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen organizational design, elevate employee experience, and ensure the company can recruit and retain elite talent across all functions – particularly as Judi Health expands its presence in key markets nationwide and Judi®, its proprietary enterprise health platform, scales to service the administration of benefits and care for tens of millions of Americans across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans.

“I’m honored and excited to join Judi Health’s mission at this stage of the company’s growth,” said Bunn. “The leadership team is inspiring, and we have an incredible foundation to build on with the Judi platform powering our solutions. It’s time to take professionalization and support for our increasingly diverse workforce to the next level as we successfully disrupt traditional benefits business models and pave the way for a brighter future.”

Bunn is an accomplished executive leading people strategy, workforce operations, and organizational development at scale. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Business Management for BCG’s West system, where she partnered with senior leadership across six offices to direct talent deployment, operational priorities, staff engagement, and leadership communications. She oversaw strategic workforce planning, facilitated Managing Director and Partner engagement, shaped regional culture initiatives, and helped steer key organizational decisions across BCG’s West region.
