Leading HR conference, filled with powerhouse speakers, embraced in-person community building to discuss tackling today’s key HR and business challenges

Workhuman

Workhuman®, the company revolutionizing the way employees celebrate, connect with, and appreciate each other in the workplace, today wrapped up Workhuman Live 2022, the game-changer of conferences where the world’s best minds gathered to share transformative ideas and tackled today’s toughest workplace challenges. During the 3.5 day event, there were more than 50 sessions and 65 speakers, including Dan Levy, Simone Biles, Tunde Oyeneyin, Dr. Bernice A. King, Vernā Myers, Doyin Richards, and more.

In addition to the incredible sessions and speakers, Workhuman announced many upcoming updates to the Workhuman Cloud®, including:

  • Workhuman iQ: Workhuman’s democratization of actionable organizational insights outside of human resources or human experience, providing people leaders with a human-focused narrative, including recommendations on local actions they can take to improve the employee experience. The company is developing the new application powered by Workhuman’s more than one billion points of human connections, full of visualizations that illustrate an organization’s culture over time, showing changes in behaviors and raising awareness of new emerging patterns. More information on Workhuman iQ can be found here.
  • Integrations: Workhuman is on an ambitious product journey to shape the future of the Human Workplace. By injecting the power of Social Recognition, Celebrations, and Conversations into commonly used enterprise productivity tools, Workhuman customers will be able to sustain a culture of connection and recognition wherever and however people are working. With Workhuman integrations, customers can nominate colleagues, create check-ins, and send feedback without leaving the apps where they work – programs like Slack, Outlook, Workday, Microsoft Teams, and Yammer. In addition, Conversations, the company’s continuous performance development platform, will also integrate with Slack. Additional information about Workhuman’s integrations can be found here.
  • Inclusion Advisor: Workhuman’s in-the-moment coaching tool, Inclusion Advisor, uses Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing to classify the underlying sentiment of an award nomination and provide meaningful suggestions for how to improve a Social Recognition award message. This type of microcoaching furthers the value of an employee recognition program, reinforces a business’s DEI training, and is a fast and easy way to create a more inclusive culture. Inclusion Advisor will be expanding in the Workhuman Cloud, with the functionality being incorporated into Conversations, Workhuman’s continuous performance development solution. Inclusion Advisor will now be able to identify implicit bias used in everyday workplace language in feedback requests and check-ins.

Workhuman also announced new research done in partnership with Gallup, titled Unleashing the Human Element at Work: Transforming Workplaces Through Recognition. Some highlights from the study include:

  • Only about one-third of employees say their employer has a formal recognition program.
  • Eight in 10 senior leaders (81%) say recognition is a not major strategic priority for their organization.
  • An organization of 10,000 people with an already engaged workforce can save up to $16.1M in turnover annually when they make recognition an important part of their culture.

After six in-person events in the US, Workhuman is excited to bring Workhuman Live to EMEA – Workhuman Live Europe will take place September 26-28, 2022 in Dublin, Ireland. The company has also announced that Workhuman Live 2023 will take place April 17-20, 2023 in San Diego.
