Video Assessment Tool launched by CareerArc to aid job seekers

Job seekers and aid to job seekers have been trending in the hrtech news section for quite some time now. Hrtech companies and solution providers are coming up with different, creative solutions to assist the candidates in different ways. CareerArc too has launched a video-assessment tool in order to assist the candidates in evaluating their own personality traits and soft skills.

CareerArc has a video tool with Artificial Intelligence technology into the placement platform of the company in order to help the job seekers evaluate their character traits and soft skills through self-guided and brief interviews.

The insights generated through the video assessments can be used by candidates for refining the presentation of their personal brands and self-portrait during an interview, or while networking, and also on their resumes. This AI-powered psychometric technology used for talent assessment was built with language processing, assessment science, and machine learning, stated the company.

The assessment by this tool is completed in three steps –

Candidates record themselves answering three different but common questions asked in the interviews, review them and re-record their answers for as many times as they wish to, before submitting them.
The AI technology integrated into the tool assesses the submissions of the candidates to surface their unique character and personality traits along with their soft skills.
Candidates then receive a Soft Skills and Character Traits Report, which can be reviewed by them to identify the best possible way of highlighting each of their unique skills or traits.

The world as a whole is witnessing a layoffs’ tidal wave due to the economic strain caused by the COVID-19 outbreak and CareerArc wants the candidates to do everything possible to make themselves more marketable.
