iHire Mental Health Awareness Month webinar addresses job search stress

Mental Health

In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, iHire will host a live webinar and Q&A on May 29 at noon ET, “7 Ways to Reduce Job Search Stress & Build Resilience.” Featuring guest presenter Hannah Rose, LCPC, Founder of Rose Wellness and former “Survivor” contestant, the webinar will guide attendees on navigating a less stressful job search process with a positive mindset.

“We recently surveyed over 2,100 job seekers and found that nearly half believed that searching for a job negatively impacts their mental health,” said Lori Cole, iHire Certified Career Coach and Brand Ambassador. “However, with preparation, self-care, and the right attitude, candidates can achieve their goals with less stress and anxiety. We look forward to our guest speaker and subject matter expert Hannah Rose sharing her valuable advice in our upcoming webinar.”

A consultant, public speaker, and founder of Rose Wellness, a Maryland-based fully telehealth group private practice, Rose is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), an Advanced Clinical Relapse Prevention Specialist (ACRPS), a Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCS), and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). In 2023, Rose was a contestant on “Survivor.” Despite her controversial decision to leave the show early, Rose became a fan favorite among younger viewers by encouraging them to be authentic and listen to their boundaries.

“Atop the stress of searching for a job, it’s easy for candidates to get caught up in self-defeating beliefs and imposter syndrome,” said Rose. “I’m excited to partner with iHire to offer job seekers proven, proactive tips to grow professionally and personally while maintaining a healthy mind.”
