Each year, Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators list recognizes companies from across the globe who empower employees at all levels to improve processes, create new products, or invent new ways of doing business. Fast Company selected Devoted based on its industry-leading approach that has led to compelling clinical outcomes for its members. Devoted’s solutions include utilizing Orinoco, an ambitious proprietary technology platform, which powers every aspect of the company’s work, including CRM, EHR, claims, and clinical decision support. Devoted Medical, the company’s clinical organization that works to complement members’ local doctors and hospitals, utilizes a “patient, priorities, care” paradigm that helps patients prioritize and make decisions about their health. As a result, at least 85 percent of Devoted Medical members with diabetes have been able to get their blood sugar levels under control, achieving an average reduction in their HbA1c of 2.1 in a remarkable 93 days. Moreover, at least 77 percent of members with hypertension have gotten their blood pressure under control, reducing systolic blood pressure by an average of 15 mmHg in only 40 days.
Submissions for the 2023 Best Workplaces for Innovators were individually evaluated by a team of Fast Company editors and reporters. Finalists were then reviewed by a panel of judges comprising editors, business leaders, and other innovators.
