Contentsquare

Contentsquare, a global leader in digital experience analytics, announced the appointment of Melanie Oberman as Chief People Officer (CPO). Previously the CPO at Heap, which Contentsquare acquired in 2023, Melanie brings 15 years of experience in scaling people operations at high-growth tech companies. She will be responsible for leading the company’s people strategy and talent development, and will report directly to CEO & Founder, Jonathan Cherki.

“Contentsquare is going through an exciting phase of growth and development, and our culture and team are at the heart of everything we do,” said Jonathan Cherki, CEO & Founder of Contentsquare. “Melanie’s leadership will be key in making sure that as we scale, we continue to cultivate a strong, inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and innovation flourishes.”

During her time at Heap, Melanie played a pivotal role in shaping a high-performance culture, helping the company earn recognition on Glassdoor. Prior to that she served as VP of People at Jetblack, a Walmart company, where she helped support the company’s expansion and culture during a period of rapid growth. She also held a key leadership position at Greenhouse Software, following her early career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte, where she specialized in organizational transformation and change management.

“I am incredibly excited to take on the role of Chief People Officer at Contentsquare,” said Melanie Oberman. “I am looking forward to partnering with the team to create a best in class people experience that attracts and retains top talent, fosters a culture of innovation and inclusivity, and positions our company as the best place to work globally.”

With this appointment, Contentsquare strengthens its executive team as it continues to navigate an exciting phase of growth. Following its acquisition of Heap in 2023, the company announced its new Experience Intelligence platform in June 2024 — the first solution in the market allowing teams to connect previously separate data sources for a holistic understanding of customers and their journeys. The company also introduced enhanced practical AI capabilities across its platform, empowering teams to work more efficiently and intelligently.

As the company expands globally and accelerates innovation, it remains deeply committed to fostering a dynamic, people-first culture that fuels both creativity and growth, driving strong performance and high employee engagement across teams. In 2023, Contentsquare earned a spot on Built In’s Best Places to Work list and was also recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in Tech, a prestigious ranking within the Best Places to Work awards. It has also been featured for two consecutive years in LinkedIn’s Top Companies France list, an annual ranking of the 25 best workplaces for career growth.
